Every year we make a list of resolutions that we plan to follow religiously but by the middle of the year, that list is lost somewhere between notebooks and office junk. Yes, we all have been there sometime or other. Fret not, we know that it is difficult to pull through such phases where we are all over the place, so we got you 6 ways to get that booty back on track and shine like the diamond that you are!


1. Wake Up, cupcake!

That is the most difficult part to being with but no worries, once this is done half the battle is won!
Just don't hit snooze and fall back to slumber.Make up your mind and just get up. Mentally, plan your day and head to the kitchen because the tummy is probably grumbling by now, isn't it? Start your day with some coffee. In case that does not help, go over to Pinterest for some inspiration.

2. Positive Affirmations

This is something that will keep you going. When you are in the middle of something and feel stranded, this is where positive affirmations will come to your rescue. Either say it out loud or maintain little sticky notes filled with positive quotes for your mind. Just inspire yourself.

3.  Plan It Out

This requires a little something called your ‘super planner/organizer’
Get hold of a planner and start chalking out your day. You could set challenges for yourself, time yourself and so much more. Start with baby steps and then take giant leaps! The world is your playground, amigo.

4.  Create a playlist

A fun, groovy playlist can help you immensely. You can keep going without feeling sluggish, and in no time you will have finished up all the pending stuff. Fill up your playlist with all your favorites, ones that make you hum and do that little jig and all set.

5. The Happy Jar

This is an exclusive DIY that will keep you inspired throughout the week. Once your working hours are over and you are back home chilling, think of something that made you happy that day and write it down on a piece of paper. Then put the paper in a jar. Keep doing this till the end of the week. In the weekend, sit and read them.  Watch how it lights up your day. This can work wonders if your feeling low.

6. Cheat Day

This one right here should definitely help. Right in the beginning of the week, think of your favorite dessert or jewelry or a nice bag that you have been drooling over. Now, only after you have successfully survived the weekdays, you can treat yourself with the cheat day treat. So, now you have something to look forward to at the end of the week. Yaay!

Tip : The level of treat should be proportional to your hard work for the entire week.
